Gathering for Open Science Hardware (GOSH)

January 2021 – Present

Community Coordinator. Responsible for supporting the GOSH community governance groups, the wider community, and the board of the GOSH 501c3 nonprofit, as well as helping to organize activities such as global GOSH meetings, writing sprints, collaborative development projects, and more.

Open Science Shop

Communications Manager. Responsible for meeting organizing and facilitation, managing communications across teams, and curating social media content to engage and connect with target audiences.

Public Science Cluster, NCSU

September 2018 – August 2020                                                               

Coordinator, Citizen Science Campus. Overseeing the formation of the Citizen Science Campus by facilitating faculty workshops, managing online content, and communicating with NC State administration. 

Program Assistant. Responsible for assisting Public Science Cluster at NC State with content curation, event planning, and management.   

International Focus, Raleigh NC

Program Associate Internship. Responsible for arranging professional meetings for the International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) delegates. This includes researching professional resources, planning and hosting events, and meeting with visiting delegates.

Internship. Served as an assistant in the Cooper lab involving citizen science research, data remediation, and volunteer outreach. Worked closely with Dr. Cooper on making NC State the first Citizen Science Campus.

Global Village, NCSU

Ambassador. Served as a mentor to international and domestic students living in the Global Village at NC State. Responsible for creating and hosting events within the village.
